Now there was a sinful woman in the city who learned that he was at table in the house of the Pharisee. Bringing an alabaster flask of ointment, she stood behind him at his feet weeping and began to bathe his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the ointment.
Gospel's Commentary
Today we are moved by the tenderness of Jesus. He had been invited by a Pharisee to a meal… Everyone murmurs about what that woman—Mary Magdalene—is doing and about what Jesus allows her to do for Him…
—Jesus is happy! Later, Mary Magdalene will be the first person to see the risen Christ. If you want to find Jesus, take care of Jesus!
