"For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?"
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus speaks to us about "life" and of "Life". Well? "life" makes sense in terms of "Life" (eternity). It is a very useful idea for our times, so given to losing our heads going after the latest fashion. The problem is that fashions come and go ... and one runs the risk of living fashionably without leaving any personal history.
We will be "going" too. But if one lives in fashion ..., it will be uncomfortable to appear before the "Life" without a "curriculum vitae".
