Today the Gospel begins the Easter countdown. Mary, Lazarus’ sister, pours a very expensive perfume - hundreds of dollars - on Jesus. Some criticize her, but Jesus defends her by saying that she is anticipating His burial. Jesus knows what He is doing and where He is going!
