There was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”
Gospel's Commentary
Today we see Jesus Christ’s first miracle: He turns water into wine to successfully end that wedding. And all of this is made possible by the request of the Virgin Mary.
—Look at the kind of authority Jesus’ Mother has. Although He claims “His time has not yet arrived”, He obeys His mother... And She recommends that we obey Him.
