When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.”
Gospel's Commentary
Today the three kings of Orient come to Bethlehem. They come from far away, and they come to worship Jesus. They give us a good lesson: they are not sons of Israel, perhaps they do not even know the "Bible", but they are looking for God.
—When they find Him, they immediately kneel down and worship Jesus, by offering Him their best gifts. And you? What are you offering to God?
