"To anyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away. This is why I speak to them in parables, because they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand."

Today Jesus’ words sound somewhat mysterious. But they are very precise: God sows generously. If the heart responds, it experiences an even greater hunger for God and receives still more… But if the heart is closed, without deep “furrows,” or filled with rocks, then...
—Many souls have had few opportunities in life. God speaks gently to them, through parables and the things of this world. Others—perhaps you yourself—have received more, and Jesus can speak to us more directly. How fortunate, right?
