Gospel's Commentary
Today we hear the parable of the “fool” who puts his trust in material wealth. “Soul, you have many good things stored up for many years.” Oh, really? What are “many years”? Compared with eternity, they are nothing.
—Besides, “many years” can turn into only a few days for me (weeks, months). God alone has complete dominion over time! And worst of all, neither Heaven nor God can be bought with “grain.”
