Jesus sends his followers to proclaim the Kingdom of God

Today we ask ourselves whether perhaps we too should join this first group sent out by the Lord. Is this something from the past? Twenty centuries later, things have not changed. The same sigh still rises from the Heart of God: “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” God is still looking for collaborators in the midst of the world to bring comfort to the world. —“The seventy-two returned rejoicing.” Of course! What could be better than living with Jesus, studying with Jesus… with Jesus? Wherever you bring peace and joy, Christ will be passing through. “Go on your way!”
