Jesus predicts the destruction of Jerusalem and the end of times

Today we hear two "lessons". The first is part of history: the Christians remembered the words of the Lord and, indeed, when the Roman troops besieged Jerusalem, there was no longer any disciple in the city ... “These days are the time of punishment when all the Scriptures are fulfilled”: it was fulfilled! Second lesson: conversion ("flee to the mountains"), that is, reject evil and climb the mountain of holiness. - “But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect...” The terrible destruction of Jerusalem was another occasion for the spread of the Gospel ... For the children of God, "every cloud has a silver lining."
