Jesus said to his disciples: “A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we read a “classic” from Jesus’ preaching: “Every tree is known by its fruit.” That is how life works! With the passing of time, the results of what each person has been sowing begin to appear. Where do I place the foundations of my life? When the weather is good, everyone laughs. But what happens when the winds and rains grow stronger? Some remain standing; others collapse.
—I cannot expect the weather always to be “good.” What I can do is make God the foundation of my life.
