There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.
Gospel's Commentary
Today we read the last words of the Gospel according to John. Among the Apostles John also has a "special place": he is a direct witness of the death of Jesus and of the very risen Jesus. John acts as a "notary": he wants to give "testimony of these things" and it is he who "wrote them". With similar words John also wanted to certify the real death of Christ with the heart pierced by a spear.
—Jesus’ life is exciting, rich in words and deeds. St. John, who survived the rest of Apostles, tells us the essential. Many other things can also be "seen" based on the Tradition of the Church and in our personal meditation.
