Gospel's Commentary
Today, contemplating the divine beauty of Jesus, Simon Peter spontaneously expresses his happiness: “Lord, it is good that we are here!” Certainly, with Jesus Christ one is always well: there is no greater source of peace and happiness. But… let us pay attention to what the heavenly Father said to the Apostles who witnessed the scene: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.” Listen to Him!
—Today and every day we can listen to Jesus. Go before the tabernacle, keep silence, kneel down, and you will hear Him.
