When Jesus saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.
Gospel's Commentary
Today, this Gospel shows us how God wants to save us. A short while ago we still were celebrating His birth: He arrived as a helpless baby, poor, suffering persecution very soon... Today we see Him as a teacher, while bearing the sufferings of the people: He cures their ailments and feeds them with a great miracle.
-Perhaps the most important thing He does for us is that "He teaches us many things". Through Jesus Christ, God opens His inside and welcomes us into His Divine Heart.
