Rejecting Jesus is rejecting the Father who sent him

Rejecting Jesus is rejecting the Father who sent him
Friday of the Twenty-sixth Week in Ordinary Time
Gospel text
Lk 10:13-16
Jesus said to them, "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we see Jesus turning his look to those cities of Galilee where he had preached and performed the works of the Father. In no other places like Corazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum, did Jesus preach and perform so many miracles. The sowing had been abundant, but the harvest wasn’t good. Not even Jesus could convince them! - Not even Jesus could convince them …! What a mystery is the human freedom: we can say "NO" to God!
