August 15th: Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior (...). From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me."
Gospel's Commentary
Today the prophetic words of the Virgin's prayer are fulfilled: henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. It could not be otherwise! The Mother of God is led to Heaven: in Person! With all her humanity, soul and body! The angels are stunned at so much beauty. In time, we will follow Our Mother’s footsteps: with soul and body too!
So ... let us be careful, very careful with our body! In Heaven there is only room for "ecological bodies" (for extravaganzas there is an "alternative" place).
