Gospel text
Mt 18:1-5, 10, 12-14
If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the "stray?"
Gospel's Commentary
Today we imagine a little and rebellious lamb by the name of Bel. He often hid when he heard the shepherd’s voice, who was calling him by its name: Bel, Bel! But one day Bel got really lost. The shepherd anxiously looked for him. Until he could finally locate it on the edge of a cliff full of thorns. "Bel, what are you doing here?" Come! Full of scratches, the shepherd whistled happily and returned home with Bel. "Jesus, you are my shepherd." Never let me stay away from you.
