A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. She said to herself, “If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.” Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.”
Gospel's Commentary
Today we go with Jesus to Jairo's house, where his daughter is very sick and can die. Along the way something extraordinary happens... The woman who lost blood! Her great faith and confidence in the Savior helped her to overcome the obstacles...
-- Surmounting her shame and fear, she pushed her way through the crowd until she "touched" Jesus. "And, the woman was healed from that moment."
