Jesus said to his disciples: “Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father."
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus asks us to do our works, above all, to please the Father. The most beautiful reason to live is to please God. Should we triumph in life? Yes, but first of all do it for God. The admiration of men for you will fade quickly with the passage of time; The admiration of God for you is eternal.
