When Jesus raised his eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?”
Gospel's Commentary
Today we see the crowd seeking Jesus because they have the need for health. First, physically health. Jesus Christ spares no effort to cure their illnesses, He even feeds their hunger. There is no limit to God´s power and will… Five thousand men… Thirty thousand people…
- But the Lord will also tell them to make an effort for the bread that leads to Heaven, that is, for the teaching that feeds our soul.
