Jesus in Nazareth: No prophet is accepted in his own land

Jesus in Nazareth: No prophet is accepted in his own land
Monday of the Third Week of Lent
Gospel text
Lk 4:24-30
When the people in the synagogue heard this, they were all filled with fury. They rose up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong...
Gospel's Commentary
Today we find Jesus Christ "speaking His mind" in the synagogue of His own hometown, Nazareth. Outcome: “they drew Him out of the town and took Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him off the cliff” What kind of suffering for the Virgin! Some people! But, they did not succeed because His time had not yet arrived. Jesus will submit Himself voluntarily in Jerusalem... —They say that "truth begets hatred". But if Christ speaks to you clearly? It is advisable to listen to Him!
