At that very moment he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we ask ourselves how it is possible that there are very intelligent people who do not find God or who even deny and “reject” His existence. But… what does it mean to be “very intelligent”? Without a good heart, without simplicity, without humility, can someone really be “very intelligent”?
—A human being is not a computer: besides being able to “add and subtract,” he has freedom and a heart. And… there is none so blind as the one who does not want to see!
