On that day, Jesus went out of the house and sat down by the sea. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd stood along the shore. And he spoke to them at length in parables
Gospel's Commentary
Today many people want to hear Jesus. From the shore they hear him well... And the young Master adapts himself well to this wide audience. He does not make them dizzy with a cascade of laws no one understands. He speaks of the very life itself...
-God is the good sower. There is abundant seed! But if the ground is not plowed, the seed bounces back and is lost. Are the furrows of my heart deep enough? Is it clear of boulders?
