Gospel text
Mt 10:24-33
Jesus said to his apostles, "If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household! Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we need this comfort of Jesus: God’s children are always before the attentive look of the Lord. If we suffer some incomprehension, or mockery, or injustice for God's sake, we should know that nothing escapes His vision. If we are sometimes struck by the evil that is committed in this world, let us trust in the gaze of God who sees everything: nothing is hidden from His eyes! - Would you like to be able to see” as God? That is where the virtue of faith goes!
