Jesus to the disciples: “I have come not to abolish the law or the prophets, but to fulfill"

Today Jesus defends Himself... The Lord has been healing those sick on Saturdays, has been eating with publicans, has rejected the divorce... and they accuse Him of ignoring Moses’ law. The world is upside down! But Jesus Christ defends Himself... and asks us to love as He does, and avoid the hypocrisy of some Pharisees (they abided by many precepts, but their hearts were "dry"). —Jesus’ words are not theoretic. Christ fully complies with the Law of God by dying on the Cross for us. Let us join Him!
