In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
Gospel's Commentary
Today we read a special Gospel: It is the foreword of St. John. God was so small when He came to our Earth that John wanted to start his Gospel by proclaiming the greatness of Jesus Christ. He is the eternal Word of God, i.e., the eternal Son of God-Father. He always existed next to the Father, because He Himself is God.
-Do you remember Christmas? In the silence of the night, when Jesus is born, the Angels sing: because Jesus is the Son of God!
