To listen to God, one must do it with the mindset of children

To listen to God, one must do it with the mindset of children
Saturday of the Nineteenth Week in Ordinary Time
Gospel text
Mt 19:13-15
Children were brought to Jesus that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus shows His special love for children. They are “poor” in age, experience, knowledge… Therefore, they must be cared for with particular love. In reality, all of us must become like children in the presence of God. As soon as we become a little too “grown-up,” no one can tell us anything anymore because we no longer listen to anyone. —Before God, how could we not listen? What is most genuine about Christianity is precisely listening to the voice of God.
