The Lord is buried in the tomb

Today the Lord is no longer with us. Or rather, He actually is, but He is underground, buried. The Creator buried! Well? Perhaps it is because to love you have to bury yourself: if you want to be too much yourself, maybe you will not get to identify yourself with your neighbor, with your brothers. Jesus-Man died: His human Soul left His Body. But Jesus-God is eternal: He is still alive! And the Body he had assumed will be resurrected. He will not rise as Lazarus (who had to be "un-tied"). Jesus Christ will resuscitate by His own divine power. —"But look: He defeated death by submitting to death. Do you understand that to love one must be buried?
