Lk 15:1-3.11-32
The Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” So to them Jesus addressed this parable: “A man had two sons, and the younger son..."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we already know where that "prodigal son" is going to stop ... He has despised his father by squandering the inheritance! And when he has nothing left, everyone ignores him ... Everyone disappears! It is the consequence of "entertaining" with freedom instead of "surrendering". -The older brother: he has stayed home, but he does not love the father either. He values more the lost money than the returned brother ... The good father embraces the youngest son and raises the eyes of the older one: «Everything that is mine is also yours». This is God!
