Herod was the one who had John arrested and bound in prison on account of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, whom he had married. John had said to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.”

Today, sadly, the name of Herod appears again in front of us. His father Herod the Great was the King that tried to kill the newly born Jesus. What a dynasty of “fraud” kings! Instead of serving their people, they spend their time killing them all.
_This Herod had made a “false move” in his life: he was not married. And then comes the “wrong move”: he ends up killing John the Baptist…
