He came toward them walking on the sea (...). They thought it was a ghost and cried out (...). But at once he spoke with them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid!”
Gospel's Commentary
Today, this image amazes us: Jesus Christ is quietly walking over the sea. He did not use to do striking or miraculous things, but this time He did: He allowed it to strengthen the faith and trust of the Apostles.
-In our lives there are also storms, waves, that seem insurmountable, uncontrollable winds... but do not be afraid! Scream, call Him... The Lord of the seas and the land will always come to help us.
