During those days Mary set out and traveled to the hill country (...), she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.
Gospel's Commentary
Today, Saint Mary - with Jesus in her womb - visits Elizabeth and Zachary. And there is a beautiful scene! Elizabeth carries John in her belly, in the sixth month of pregnancy. John is already acting as a prophet of the Savior: from the womb of his mother, he listens to Mary's voice and leaps with joy. Jesus, who has not yet been born, has come to earth!
