John the Baptist asks the Pharisees for conversion

Today we present you to John the Baptist. He was born half a year before Jesus. He was a prophet, i.e., someone who tells us the right way to follow. He was the last one of the prophets of the Old Testament, and had the honor to announce and present Jesus Christ to the people: “The one who is coming after me… He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” - “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” We have to prepare ourselves for Christmas!
