Jesus said to his disciples, “Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock."
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus requests that we conform to the will of His Father God. If you love your parents, you obey them; if you love God, then you want to obey God.
-At Christmas, we admire the obedience of the Son of God. To cure our disobedience, the Son of the Father was made man: Jesus of Nazareth, God and true man. He loved His Father’s will to the point of giving His life on the Cross for our salvation.
