Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Gospel's Commentary
Today, again, we listen to Jesus as a "divine teacher." Today He speaks about marriage. From the outset, he confirms that parents’ love is forever (there is no "part-time love"). We already knew this! But Jesus Christ goes a step further: He asks for a delicate love (is there a "rude love"?).
—”Delicate love"? Friendly language, friendly gesture and "ecological look". Yes, a look that does not put calculations on the body of the other, but embraces the whole being of the person I am seeing. This is the gaze of Jesus!
