Jesus to the disciples: “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."

Today the Lord invites us to follow His way, a way of love: to our parents, to our brothers and sisters, to our friends… But, if we do want to make others happy we must forget about our comfort, and be ready to render our lives. That is what the Master means when he speaks about “carrying our Cross”. -He who thinks only of never getting tired and always having a good time, gets everybody exhausted.
