“This is how it is with the kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. Of its own accord the land yields fruit …"
Gospel's Commentary
Today, Jesus explains how our life is born and grown. God is the sower who created us with a "heart", reinforced by the seed of Baptism. God is also the good soil where the seed grows. And with the growth of the love comes the fruits: a family and a work that enrich the world ... —I am a very small "seed", called to become a big "tree". Lord, grant our bodies a quiet rest, and make the seed which we have sown today with the work of daily life bear fruits of eternal life.
