Lk 21:34-36
“Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life"
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus is demanding from us an awake and vigilant spirit. Does something occur to us?? Yes, that Christ came to our Earth twenty centuries ago and many still do not seem to be aware of it or do not pay any attention to Him: their hearts are very busy with many other things. Our freedom should, above all, serve to love, not for our entertainment. -When we pray we are able to revere God in the midst of this so exciting world, by enjoying things without letting them steal our hearts. Only one Love has the right to "steal" my heart!
