Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples."
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus teaches us to pray. And he does it with the same style of prayer that He practiced: the "Our Father." Jesus speaks with "his Father" and invites us to speak with "his Father." In this way, God is also our Father. That's why we are born!
—The Master also recommends being insistent. Sometimes we say that "God does not listen to me." Isn’t it that I hardly speak to him? Or that I only speak to him when it is of my "interest"?
