Francesc Badia
Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (B)
Gospel text
Mk 6,1-6
Jesus departed from there and came to his native place (...). When the Sabbath came he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished. They said, “Where did this man get all this? What kind of wisdom has been given him? What mighty deeds are wrought by his hands!
Gospel's Commentary
Today Galilea’s villagers acknowledge Jesus but, they don’t –really- know Him… they do not really accept that he can be the Messiah. So many years living close to Him and… Even when nobody had told them that Jesus -born of Mary- was come from Heaven, they could perhaps have suspected it from the signs he did in front of them! _Without Faith it is not possible to really recognise Jesus. Without Faith we cannot even see the miracles!
