"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves."
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus surprises us: He promises us relaxing days if we “bear the burden" of His "yoke", that is, the demands of his path. But nobody wants to hear about yokes or obligations ... So? "My yoke is easy and my burden light." He is more than right!
--He was the first one to carry the Cross (by saving us a lot of weight). He helps us to carry this "weight". At any rate: is it possible to love without any effort? The arrogant and wise ones of this world do not understand it!
