"Take it; this is my body, this is my blood"

"Take it; this is my body, this is my blood"
The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (B)
Gospel text
Mk 14:12-16.22-26
he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is my body." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them (...). He said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we are witnessing a divine feat: only He has enough imagination and power to carry it out. This is amazing! God loves us so much that He did not have enough with the sacrifice of His Son on the Cross: He wanted to give us this sacrifice; we can eat the sacrificed Body of the Lord! - It isn’t easy: for this to be possible Jesus has humiliated Himself more than He did in the Cross hiding in the fragile consecrated Bread, in order to be divided and distributed... without limits!
