Jesus reveals himself to the disciples at Emmaus: they recognized him in the breaking of the bread.

Today we are with the two disciples of Jesus, who are going to a town called Emmaus. They are discouraged. But Jesus, who had resurrected a few hours before, is going to look for them. He meets them on the way. They don’t recognize Him but they feel very happy while they are listening to His explanations about Sacred Scripture. —Do you feel sad? Cheer up!, because the Lord always “meets” us. Where can you meet Him? Look for Him in the Gospel!
