They saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they began to be afraid.
Gospel's Commentary
Today we see once again that Jesus is indeed God Himself, the Creator of nature: the disciples see Him walking on the sea. Only God can do this. The disciples were frightened.
- We shall not be afraid of God and His greatness as Creator. He tells us: “It is I. Do not be afraid.”
