This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples after being raised from the dead.
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus is again with the Apostles. It is the third time! Since He resurrected, He no longer lives with them. Because Jesus Christ has risen to a new life: He no longer needs to eat, to sleep ... But before ascending to Heaven He keeps on meeting His disciples: He prepares them for their mission to extend the Church throughout the world.
—Jesus is in heaven, but also on earth: He is in the church tabernacle. Do you go to greet Him?
